International Society for the History of East Asian Science, Technology, and Medicine (ISHEASTM) 19 - 23 Aug 2019

The International Society for the History of East Asian Science, Technology, and Medicine (ISHEASTM) will be held its 15th International Conference on the History of Science in East Asia at Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, Republic of Korea on August 19 (Mon.) - 23 (Fri.), 2019.

The conference theme is "History of Science, Technology, and Medicine in Polycentric East Asia: Harmony in Diversity (화이부동, 和而不同)". All the other topics related to the history of medicine, science and technology in East Asia are, of course, welcome.

In addition to providing a forum for the latest scholarship in the history of science, technology and medicine in East Asia, the Organizing Committee particularly encourages discussion of the exploration, protection, conservation and contemporary significance of the tangible and intangible heritage related to the development of science, technology and medicine in East Asia.
