This third edition of the PhD thesis Prize on Asia attracted more than sixty applications. Three awards of 3,000 euros each were on offer to reward doctoral work / dissertations on Asian studies, submitted between 2018 and 2019, in all disciplines of the humanities and social sciences.
The jury’s chair was Myriam de Loenzien, deputy director of GIS Asie. 15 PhD dissertations had been initially shortlisted. The awards were given to:
