The conference “Overseas Chinese Students: Expression, Identity, and Politics” brings together a group of international scholars from various disciplines to study the evolving experience of Chinese students studying abroad. With the aim to foster a broader discussion on these topics, four panels, spanned over two days, will cover questions related to individual and professional trajectories, political socialization, identity formation, as well as political pressures and surveillance.
